Hello Everybody,

A warm welcome to the community discussion boards.

Community boards are a great place where users come together and discuss various issues, both related and not related to eBay. In the process, they gain from each other’s knowledge, share their success and disappointments, help others, make friends and most importantly have fun.

This is a place where eBay India users can sit and relax while spending time on their various eBay activities.

Here is some quick help on using the community boards, and making your posts more interesting and personlised.

To interact on these boards, you will need to register first - it's easy and free! Also, please take the time to read and familiarise yourself with the eBay Board Usage Policies on http://pages.ebay.in/help/policies/everyone-boards.html

How to read posts
To be a guest and simply read discussions, or "lurk", you do not have to log on. Simply click on the discussion topic you are interested in reading. However, if you sign in, you get to see all the new and updated posts since your last visit.

How to log on
On the Community page, on your top right hand side, you have a button for sign in. Similarly in every board, on the top there is a button to sign in. You can use your existing eBay user id and password to log on.
By signing in you get to see all the posts that are new or updated since your last visit. If you do not have an eBay User ID, you will need to register

How to post a new message
Sign in to the boards and either scroll down to the bottom of the page or click the "Post Message" button in the toolbar and then type your message into the text box. If you want to add special formatting such as bold, italics, bullets, etc. or insert links or images, you can use regular HTML tags in this text box or use the shortcuts given in the post message button box.
When you are ready, click the "Post Message". The page will then reload and your message will appear with the others.

How to use spell check
Prior to clicking "Post Message," you can check the spelling in your message. Simply click the "Check Spelling” (ABC with a tick mark) button on top of the text box where you've been typing. When you are ready, click the "Post Message" button.

How to start a new discussion
When you want to start a new discussion, click the "Post Topic" button at the top of the chat board page. You must be logged in to the boards to see this button.

How To Navigate Through A Discussion
To navigate between the pages click the previous or next tab on bottom of the page

To get to the last posts, click the "See last Post" button at the bottom of the last post on your list.

If you are not able to see beyond the first message, just hit on the page number and you will be able to see the whole page and the messages.

Watches, Settings and Search Functionality
Watches: To keep an eye on the discussion of your interest, you can choose to watch the discussion. This will ensure that you are mailed whenever any response is made on the watched post.

Settings: Create your own signature; customize it according to your personality. You can use HTML to make your signature more personal. To get some cool HTML tips check this out: http://members.ebay.co.uk/ws2/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewUserPage&userid=mr_plopster

Search: Search and Advanced search functionality gives you the ability to search for all the posts made by a particular member, date wise or topic wise.


Glossary of Terms
A Discussion is a collection of messages on the same topic. Discussions are also known as "threads." You can post messages in a discussion, or click "Add Topic" to begin a new discussion, if you don't find an existing one that fits what you want to talk about.
A Post is a message made to a discussion by a member who is logged on.

BELOW IS THE COPY OF EMAIL WHICH I SENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT AT EBAY ON 15TH JUNE FOR MY SUSPENDED ACCOUNT. YET TO RECEIVE THIER REPLY.
INSTEAD THEY ARE ALL THE TIME ASKING ME JUSTIFICATIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS. DID THEY CONTACT THE SELLERS EVER.

Message: I won Item #160119436000 & item no.160119137495 from laxmi_shopping (Goa)on 28th May. I paid through PaisaPay ID 19587468532 on 29th May, 2007. I received the items on 8th June.

The brief history is that the seller has been assuring me that he would send this item in a large size. It is there in his almost three messages. But the items received were of a medium size and hence i informed the same to the seller immediately. Seller assured me to replace the items with large size ones and that he would send me picutres (i have evidence of these emails). I can choose from these and
then seller will send me the items alongwith the item no.
160121913784: B@@LYW@@D DHAMAKA~FULLY EMBROIDED SUIT (this item is under dispute and reason for my account suspension).
this item i won on 4th June, 2007 from this seller.

I was told to hold on not to send the items back or not to also pay for the new won item no.160121913784 as the seller wanted to save on shipping and ship back all the three items together. I called the seller on 15th june (yesterday) on his Goa phone, he was unavailable. I spoke to his wife and she was aware of all proceedings. She also said me to hold on all actions from my end till she or her husband resolved the size problem with my first two purchases. She said the dispute must have been opened by their staff by mistake and she will set everything right. Next day morning (16th june) i get my account suspension due to no fault of mine.

The phone no. on your records is not accurate for this couple. First you call the no.08322585360 and then someone picks and you get their actual no. 0832 2585467. Then her daugther picks the phone and she takes 5 minutes to get to an STDLine from New Delhi to Goa. I think it is high time. They are not aware of their account and they failed my account on ebay too.

Please act judiciously and sort out this issue. I am bored thoroughly. Too much headache on ebay

I - Kolkata's raymahasay - due to some reasons, & WITHOUT ANY FAULT ON MY PART, was suspended for 1 month -30 days of terrible suffering, depression & tremendous mental agony.
During this period, that I could survive, was due to one single hope. That is, if not me, but, let atleast JUSTICE WIN.I kept on repeating, very patiently to myself that -PATIENCE PAYS.
Yes, Justice Won.
Thank You, is a very small word.
I am INDEBTED to eBay, for all kind cooperation extended to me & also to my cosellers, from several parts of India, who, kept on giving me MORAL SUPPORT, each & every day.
Nothing can I replace by saying or doing something, that what eBay has done for me, or my cosellers.
Today, I got back the result of my Dignity, Sincerity, Honesty & Sheer Hard Work - due to all of you.
I can now, hold my head high again to look at the sun shining.

Hi!
I'm Kolkata's raymahasay. I was suspended for the last 30 days on account of a serious violation of eBay policy & norms, which i respect, WITHOUT ANY FAULT ON MY PART, for some reasons, which is unethical to say, without any proof or evidence in my hand.
All these 30 days of tremendous depression & mental agony,I could not have sustained so long, as I was completely broken down. I had just one hope, if not me, then, atleast JUSTICE WIN.
Yes, Justice came in on the right date. Each & everyday, I used to whisper to myself - PATIENCE PAYS.... now, all of you are to judge, if i'm right or wrong.
Thank You is a very small word. Rather, I'm INDEBTED to eBay for all assistance & coperation, I am also indebted to all my cosellers from different parts of India, who - each & everyday, extended their good wishes & kept my MORAL SUPPORT ALIVE.
Today, I feel, that I got back the results of my dignity, sheer hard work, sincerity & dedication & HONESTY & NO MANIPULATION, the sun has shined up once again.
Finally, I end my posting with a very honest comment: I do both buying & selling in eBay - & do prefer to sell my items on Buy It Now/Easy to Buy mode.

actually This post of yours you have used a wrong thread to post

always post such messages with starting a new topic
you've used an older thread where not only your post goes unnoticed
but original message also gets diluted
please start a new thread ... the ebay community are definitely supportive of fellow ebayers

what does it mean can i still pay the seller for the product that the payment did not go through or how should it go please let me know about it...
