How can I track India Post Registered Parcel?

I have posted a parcel through India Post (Registered / Ordinary Post)--C RD004709152IN to US on 13-08-12,but it had not delivered yet pls help me how can i trace it.

how do i track a registered parcel begininning with CM  and ending with IN.

can we track it on india post website

You can track the status of the consignment by the following method.

• The tracking number of the consignment is printed on the package booking receipt.
• It is a thirteen digit bar-code that identifies the consignment number.
• Enter this barcode in the official website and the press ‘Go’ button then you will get the tracking status.
• You can also track through SMS service. To track the status of the article type ‘POST TRACK <13 digit article number>’ and send SMS to 166 or 51969.
