Ebay CHARGES HUGE FEES - SELLERS RESPONSE NEEDED

Ebay is charging Huge fees for sellers like Listing fee,Final value fee[5%],Paisapay fee[4%] and Service tax fee for 2 times [1 for FVF and 2nd time for Paisapay].

My suggestions

If you are going to charge this much fee to sellers then it will be definitely tough for people to sell at a low cost.So you should not charge a Listing fee.Final value fee should be 2% and Paisapay fee should be 2.5% and it should be free for Bank Transfer as Banks dont charge Ebay for this.Also Ebay has to allow sellers to charge customer for Service tax too. Why ebay charging sellers and Sellers cant charge Buyers?

PLEASE SELLERS RESPOND TO THIS THREAD AND LET EBAY KNOW OUR VIEWS.

lets not forget the additional courier charges seller is subject to!!
Also dont know whats happening about the paispay COD . I read another thread where it seems highly disorganised in its inception stage - so i am not listing yet in that category

Yes COD also is charged very much. Now there is hike in fuel surcharge too , so all couriers are going to hike their charges too.

Indian post offers cheapest but cant be reliable, so Ebay has to reduce their fee to some extent.We will see on Sep 1 2010

Hi

You are right but nothing will change. As eBay not have any poll where we will vote for charges....So keep continue as it is & recover the fees and all charges from selling price. As some of the sellers are making competition here. I will suggest we are here for business and for earning and ofcourse for providing best service to customers. So follow this and be happy.....

No you have a survey where every seller can tell his point of view and vote for it. i got the link and told my opinion about that.

Also i dont get why ebay is charging for Paisapay fee for Online Bank Transfer which is free actually as NEFT transfer is FREE.4% with service tax is much unnecessary fee.
