You are permitted to include your Skype ID in

Please note, however, that you are not permitted to include Skype

buttons in your listings but only on your About Me page.

After getting the clarification from them ,I included my
Skype ID in some of my listings.

AND THE SHOCK I GOT.All
those listing were removed.The reason was I put my Skype ID in the listing.

written in it was global policy that members were permitted to include

policy regarding Skype contact details has been reviewed and the policy

has been revised.

First they allow some thing(Skype name in the listing)and without informing
remove my listing saying the policy was reviewed and has changed.How the hell
will we ever know the changes in the policy?Was it not their responsibility to
inform me of this change?Why do they always behave like a BUNCH OF JOKERS!They
always treat sellers like animals,As if EBAY IS THE WORLDS LARGEST ZOO-or
JUNGLE RAJ.

Dear Mr.Rakesh,

I can understand your pain & frustration as I am sailing in the same boat.But on reviewing your issue,I found that in first mail you received from Miss Neena,she has mentioned that "You are permitted to include your Skype ID in your listings, Rakesh.Please note, however, that you are not permitted to include Skype buttons in your listings but only on your About Me page
And the clarification she gave you after listings were removed.."At the time you had written in it was global policy that members were permitted to include there Skype User ID within their listings. If you read both mail carefully you will see,she has permitted you to list skype in your "ABOUT ME" page & not listings.But she gave you a wrong clarification after the item was removed.She shouldnt have to misguide you in second mail.
To my personal opinion Neena is a very good person but on customer support she is not as good as she has to be.I faced such problems in past.
Further I support you for the policy of removing the listings without informing & without giving us some time limit to remove ourselves as far as listing are not much serious to remove it instant.And the worst part is holding payment of removed item by paisapay.

Hello Everyone ..

I guess the only goof up here is that the first response from eBay India Customer support was wrongly refered to "the GLOBAL policy" and failed to inform you about the eBay India rule regardign this.

In some other eBay sites you are permitted to enter your contact details int eh listing. THIS HOWEVER on EBAY INDIA IS NOT PERMITTED.

SKYPE Id can be used for contactign the seller directly ... hence not allowed in ebay.in ... but may be allowed on ebay.com

ANd ya dont be surprised if you see posting.id.in coming up in thsis listing any saying ... "i dint read your stuff as its too bugging and you have used html tags wrongly.... blah blah .." .
