Courier Company for selling Books

Hi

I have a collection of some books and I will start to sell them on Ebay in a week or two. Since I am a newbie and most of you here are highly experienced, I was wondering if you could help me out. I want to know the following:

Q1 - Books are not highly expensive but still bulky. So what would be a cheap and reliable courier service to use? If you could give approximate charges, then it would be great.
Q2 - Any locations in India which must be avoided (due to thieving courier boys, high delays etc.)?

Use Speed Post for Books & Magazines.

but speed post is not cheaper for weights above 250 gm..they are at par with courier companies
