Just Block the Buyer if you wanna get rid of him. I wish eBay's technical team would edit their website so that a non paying buyer will not be able to give any feedback to the seller until he pays.

Hi,Can some1 guide me?.I have sold 2 items on ebay just 2 days back.But buyer has not paid the money.and ebay has charged me fee Rs.3998/-.Unless i pay this money i am not able to list any items.If the buyer does not pay for his item.Why i should pay the fees.and how to list the items.OR i sholud wait simply for some more days without doing any listings. Can some1 guide me

I sell Books & Magazines on eBay. Mostly old. But all my sales are very very low. Sometimes I have to sell at a loss. I got to reduce the price in order to attract the buyers.

My luck is really bad in auction. One rupee auction with free shipping. With just one bid I sometimes ship for free to keep the customer happy. Courier charges around 50 rupees or more. Forget the cost price of the book.

Please tell me, what should I sell on eBay? I have seen that Electronic items sell the most. But at the same time that gives us the highest number of disputes.

Any better idea? I want to go slow but steady. Please help.

The greatest problem of me as a seller is being a seller!

1) As a seller, I have to ship the items on time, follow up with the courier guys, make sure the item reaches the buyer safely and keep on begging the buyers to confirm the item receipt and for feedback.

2) Inspite of many emails, calls buyers do not take any action at all. I dont know why ebay has not taken any step regarding this. Probably ebay should take step by calling the new users and explaining them about the basic flow of ebay and paisapay.

3) Buyers bid for timepass and will never pay the amount. So I will open a case and sit idle for several days.

4) Buyers can leave negative feedback but sellers wouldnt (Buyers are the only kings here!) 😞

5) And one major thing is ebay, paisapay fees and service tax. Service tax- we cannot avoid it. But paisapay fees can be reduced. Due to this I am forced to sell my items to higher cost. And get many mails from time pass buyers that "this item is already been sold cheap at market and bla..bla..bla..."

MY ONLY PRAYER IS EBAY HAS TO COME FORWARD AND TAKE SOME ACTIONS REGARDING THIS. OR ELSE SELLERS===> 😞 😞 😞

Yes if ebay admin are reading this they should read the earlier post very carefully as its very true.
As a seller we are very much harassed by buyers.
just a week ago i sold one wrist watch to a buyer when he received the item he dint liked the item saying the dial is big for his wrist, as a customer satisfaction i told him no problem return the item back and you can get any other item from my store. But buyer replyed sayin "i want my return shipping cost or else i will give negative feedback". I shipped my item corectly then also i had to ship him higher value item just to avoid negative feedback.

Secondly about 25% of my sale is UnPaid with all those Timepass users just buy and leav it, daily i hv to open about 4-5 Unpaid Item Case. Lots of my Listings are just wasted by those buyers who just doin timpass over ebay.

I really dont know what ebay is doin about this matters.

IT IS VERY TRUE THAT ebay buyers have become MORE BOLD and MORE SHAMELESS. YES IT IS ALSO TRUE THAT IT IS EBAY's FAULT.

Even after reading all the Terms and Conditions of Sale customers buy the product and then ask for replacements or refund far beyond the stipulated time period AND even in cases were no warranty and refund IS OFFERED AT ALL.

Buyers extort us for replacement and refund ONLY because ebay has given them the STUPID AND IDIOTIC AND ALWAYS MISUSED POWER of GIVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK TO THE POOR SELLER.

I really don't know how much longer can a seller survive this onslaught of such buyers. One cannot even reason with the buyers nowadays. If you hold your ground Negative feedback is given.

NOT THAT THE BUYERS ON EBAY ARE IGNORANT OR NAIVE BUT IT IS DONE ON PURPOSE ONLY because they can give NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AND WE CANNOT. WE CANNOT EVEN PUT DOWN OUR TRUE COMMENTS ABOUT THE BUYER ANYWHERE ON EBAY SO THAT OTHER SELLERS BECOME AWARE.

ITS REALLY REALLY SAD THAT SELLERS HAVE REDUCED TO A DOOR MAT ON EBAY..........YES YES, I KNOW VERY WELL THAT DOORS ARE ALWAYS OPEN.

Dear Members,

We had a bad experience with a buyer on High Value Transaction in mobile during last week. Not only me, other too mobile sellers from Ahmedabad also got impacted on the same. I thought of giving some brief about the same on voices to alert other co sellers/community members.

First a buyer bought a high value phone from me which I delivered to him in 24hrs. After that I got negative feedback from buyer stating that "Mobile Screen was damaged” when he took the delivery" . I am surprised that we took extra care while packing and we had sent the mobile in company sealed pack and such instance never happened in the past with us. After this case day before yesterday the same buyer with different user id he purchased 3 N97 Phones from me (worth 1 Lakh). Same time other 2 Mobile sellers from Ahmedabad also got bulk order for the same phone with different user ids. He was demanding to ship the phone to different address and kept on calling us several times.

I discussed with other 2 sellers and understood that he used 4 different ids and bought same phones from other sellers. He also calling from the same mobile no to all of us and using same abusive language and asking us to ship the phone immediately. He was very desperate and putting lot of pressure for the phones get shipped immediately. Even thought transaction was ICICI OBT we don't want take risk by shipping them to the buyer. So, we contacted Raj and Zubin on eBay. They immediately alerted TNS and called us in couple of hours asking us not to ship the item to the buyer. They also said buyer id was not genuine and his ids will get suspended and not to worry about their threat or negative feedback/implications.

Later we came to know that buyer hacked some one’s ICICI bank account and using it for buying high value items on eBay.

Thanks to Zubin & Raj for their quick response and saving us from fraudulent transaction.

Request other sellers to be careful with High value OBT transactions. Even though we get money on time and no charge back risk is there, it is better to check with eBay before shipping the item. If the buyer is not genuine then we can avoid getting into transaction with them. If buyer is not genuine then his id will get suspended and we will not have problem with negative feedbacks since they will get removed from our id once buyer get suspended.

Thanks to all who helped us to clear this matter !! Appreciates their efforts which are really remarkable.
