New consequence guidelines for INR & SNAD claims

Hello Team i am seeking answers to few questions Pls help me if anyone can:

1, if Buyer opens case and eBay customer support closes it in sellers favor will it still be counted as SNAD as per New consequence guidelines for INR & SNAD claims.

2, Some buyers have habit of opening cases they do it purposely now if a buyer misuses buyer protection and opens case and i can prove that its his fault , would you take action on that buyer and will that be removed from SNAD cases as per New consequence guidelines for INR & SNAD claims.

3,If my item is shipped by DHL and item will go to USA thousands of KMs away and between from here to there it is handled by may be 4-10 individuals how can i make sure that none of them drop that item and break that or handle it properly or while opening buyer will not damage it mistakenly. if it happens it will affect my id as per  New consequence guidelines for INR & SNAD claims, please let me know how to control it, In some products it happens mostly 2-3 cases per 100 transactions and buyers opens return cases.

4, Mostly we get 1-2% buyers in most of category that are there to abuse buyer protection as in new guidelines that's the only limit given to us, how will we survive in such situations.

facing same thing . 2% is nothing . Buyers misuse it a lot and sellers get scamed and still this 2% claim rate is not practical ebay . Please logically think for once . It should be 2% of defects or something where sellers is at fault , when he does not communicate to the buyer about his issue and does not resolve the claims . Then you should punish him not when buyers for no reason open false claims without even contacting sellers . I even sent mass messages to buyers that if you have any problem please contact me first before opening the return but still few buyers simply opened the return for no reason . This is not done ebay . Please look into it . We sellers are working very hard to fulfill the expectations of buyers and we do not deserve this

Cases closed without seller resolution was in itself a decent parameter to evaluate sellers on eBay.

To add to our misery (Indian CBT sellers), this new threshold of 2 % and 3 % respectively, is like asking most of the sellers on eBay to pack your bags and look elsewhere.

This seems highly unfair to us, as buyers frequently misuse these parameters to either obtain partial/full refunds, or unjustified favours. The sellers are threatened usually through negative feedbacks, now buyers who are aware of these new guidelines can easily misuse the policies to extort money from sellers.

Instead of empowering sellers and protecting them on eBay, this new provision for Indian CBT sellers is grossly unjustified.

eBay needs to consider it from a sellers point of view.

The presumption that sellers are always wrong if a buyer opens a SNAD / INR case is like seeing only one side of the spectrum, and needs to be looked into it in a more balanced viewpoint.

Already, Indian buyers are reeling under the pressure of diminished sales figures since past few months. To add to that, this new provision makes life even more tough for us.

Despite certain number of cases closing in favour of sellers, many sellers have received warning mails.

And when mails are sent to Indiacbt collections, the responses are noto nly unsatisfactory and non-explanatory, but they are such that the person replying has insufficient knowledge of the new provisions.

There needs to be a webinar with a person , who can explain all our questions with highest clarity and acumen.

New consequence guidelines for INR & SNAD claims

Dear shopofvintagesigns,

Greetings from team eBay!

Please find below the responses to your queries:

A1: Yes, they will be counted in in threshold limit for SNAD and INR. The essence here is that INR and SNAD should not be opened on seller account.

A2: There is a provision to appeal. You can appeal against the penalty by email to indiacbtcollections@ebay.com / connecting with your eBay account managers; You must appeal within 15 days of receiving the penalty email; eBay shall not accept any appeal beyond the above 15 day period.

A3: Since we are not experts on any products, and we do not have the item in our possession at any stage of the transaction, we are unable to verify and comment on the condition. As mentioned you have provision to appeal, you may appeal them.

A4: We request you to use the Report a Buyer feature to let us know about situations like this. Please go ahead and report a Buyer form: https://spd.ebay.com/RBASellerHub . Also, please refer to details pertaining to report an issue with a buyer - https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/reporting-issue-buyer?id=4084

Hope this answers your concerns.
