Refund has automatically been initiated as the seller did not ship the item by shipping dead line

I have got a mail of :
A refund has automatically been initiated since the seller did not ship the item by the shipping deadline of 17-May-14.
And according to ebay policy, we have to wait mimimum of 7 days for receiving goods .
In this case should I wait for the item or have to order from some other seller believing the required amount will be automatically refunded?
Plz clarify, otherwise its unnecessary to pay twice for the same product from 2 different sellers .

ebay is a fraud place to shop....ebay fools the customers...they always take the side of sellers...u will never get any refund of ur money....ebay takes money from sellers to sell thier broken/faulty/non functional items...trust me...i was also fooled by ebay...i suggest you to file a fraud case on ebay...
