cheated on ebay..

dear friends,
I recently bought a laptop on ebay. the seller from kolkatta his ID motor_16. had 100% positive feedback, which I later checked out to my surprise ,all the transactions were for low prise items.
well about this issue, I paid through DD and posted to the address suggested by the seller. he received the DD and also encashed it before diwali, but after that week his phone was found switched off and his ID was cancelled from ebay.
I want to know if there are other buyers who had been cheated in the past in this way and what steps did they take to ensure the return of funds if that was possible. I am cheated off 43000 rupees plus the time I spent on the whole thing.

any advise from the ebay members. or members from kolkatta who couldpossible help me in locating the person if that is possible

First of all, i would like to request you to please post all the details of the seller like name, complete postal address, telephone no, email, bank account details, etc.

In your case, the seller will not be in any position to run away with your money.

So do not panic at all.

I'm sure that you can get the seller in a trap and catch him out.
