Hi all,
I am a old buyer in Baazee and new to eBay.in I confirmed purchase of a 'Buy it Now" item. then it took me to the page where I have a textbox to calculate the shipping discount/something. Can I calculate my discount myself? is this real? I am really sorry if I had mistaken something for some best logic here.
Can any one please xplain what is this calculator, what is its purpose, how does it serve a buyer and seller?
I would also like to know the steps I need, which would help me use this shipping calculator perfectly.

Hiya,
Some sellers offer Shipping discounts when you buy more than one items from them. Such sellers, When they list states combined shipping is available. So when you buy from such sellers , the seller will specify a postage discount which you can deduce from the total amount.

When you buy more than one item from the same seller ask for a postage discount for combined shipping. Seller will give you a discount which you can deduce from the total amount.

I would like to tell you some more details as how the Sellers offer shipping discounts to Buyers who make multiple purchases.

The Sellers have these Options to Offer shipping discount.

1. Charge my highest shipping cost for the first item and Rs.______ for each additional item.

2. Charge my highest shipping cost for the first item and ship each additional item for free.

3. Charge my highest shipping cost for the first item and deduct Rs._____ from the shipping cost of each additional item.

4. Charge a shipping cost of Rs.____ for multiple purchases totalling over Rs._____


Seller in his preferences chooses one of the above options and fill the blank spaces accordingly.

I hope now you have a fair idea as to how the shipping discounts are offered and the use of calculator accordingly.
