Selling on ebay

Hello,

I want to start selling on ebay, if an international buyer purchase from me, then do I need a IE code as well as paypal account or the paisa pay will do.
What is the process of getting IE code. Is there any other legal formalities that are to be met before selling.

Hi,

You can accept payments from international buyers thru PaisaPay.

Normally people do small sales without IEC. If you want to go for big volumes then its better to have IEC. You need a trade license and one Current account to get IEC. Contact with the DGFT office of your circle. Fill up the forms, make the prescribed Bank Draft, take the letter from your Bank confirming your Bank account details and submit the forms and documents. The IEC will be sent by regd. Post. You can get an IEC in about a month without paying a Rupee to the agents / others. .
