If you are selling as a hobby and you are selling only a few items than you can go without it. But if you want to run a business than it's better to do it in a proper way.

Dear Ebay is free you don't need anything to start ...

If you have current account in yr company name its very good if don't you can still start selling "SERIOUSLY".

Once you see the response of your listings you can open a current account and can also apply for pan card this is a must must item but you don't need it right now !!

Just start and open yr ebay store (Please Note : You can only open a ebay shop once your feedback reaches 10 ) This is important and required to open a shop... rest is fine

There is a min. annual transaction limit under which S.T. is not chargeable. I think its around 10lacs / year. .

hello everyone.. it's really fun to sell on ebay. I have taken it as a hobby but in a very professional way that I transact with customers. eBay could become my bread and butter one day. Who knows! I remember my first sale, i jumped up with joy lol... couldn't control my self. but that was a sad sale.. customer still didn't pay for the item. 😞 what a bad way to start off. But hope for the best in future.

As Kaya told, Just start selling at eBay.

After few months, if you find an increase a hike in sales, then apply for a PAN Card.

Open a eBay store / shop once your feedback reaches 50. ---------------
