The first time I lost money at Baazee-eBay was in connection with a computer graphics card offered by one "panchkula_traders", later changed to "karnal_traders". This seller turned out to be a fraud who has also cheated several other buyers. I sent him the payment by DD but he invented some lame excuse to stop responding.
I submitted a claim to eBay and I've been informed that I'll receive a reimbursement. But I had to go through a long complicated process that almost made me swear off eBay for good. I also reported him to the cyber-crime cell in Delhi.
The sellers's name is Dinesh Singh, and he's from Panchkula, adjoining Chandigarh in Haryana.
Until recently, he was an active participant at a technical forum hosted by the publishers of the computer magazine Digit : http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum
This guy has a smattering of knowledge of computers and offered some items for sale at the forum. He was stupid enough to use his real name in the forum and I thought of confirming his identity by sending him a PM (Private Message), asking for his address and other contact info under the pretext of wanting to buy his items. Well, some other members beat me to it, confirmed that he is the same person, and reported him to the forum administrators. He's banned from the forum now.
