Email marketing

Hi,
I just dont know how to do it.Got some very good friends in Delhi, most of them are potential buyers.They know I got good stuff.Sending threads in personal mails just doesnt look impressive.I mean how to do lil bit of marketing, draw some people to me and to the eBay because doing business through eBay is so easy and fast and also very economical and safe.I saw an option in the shop.But please tell me how to make it work.May be indconcepts or any other user will tell me about that.Thanx,

email marketing is a Powerful tool but have its own limitations.

The limitations are that you can use this tool to send emails only to members who have added you to their favourites Sellers.

You can then send email.... Only Once a week at a cost of Rs.0.25 per email.

If you have subscribed to a basic ebay shop then 100 emails are free per month.

You can send emails in a standard ebay format for new products and offers.

This email marketing is not useful to you if you want to tap Non-ebay members like your friends & relatives ( who are not ebay members)

For this I would suggest that you send them details & advantages of this powerful site "ebay".

Encourage them to become members of ebay and then subsequently subscibe to your shop.

So, email marketing is an on-going process.

Hi indconcepts,Thanx a lot,But how do I know somebody added me to his/her favourite list?But I dont think anybody there.Growing slowly.Thats better for me at this age.I have cross promotion arrangement with another user,whom I met here.But I dont have much ambition.Thanx again , Amitava

It would lead you to........

Shop Usage Information

where you would be shown the following..

Subscription level

Active listings

Email marketing

If you have any subscribers then it would be mentioned in front of Email marketing.

I think at this stage you might not be having any subscriber. May be when you promote your shop to your relatives, friends & customers you may have many on list.
