Community Awards

Dear Community Members,

The Community Development Team is happy to announce the eBay India Community Award.

This award will recognize those users who exhibit the eBay Values and make substantial contributions to the eBay Community. These contributions range from helping other eBay members on Discussion boards to providing suggestions and constructive feedback that is valued by the community and eBay.

Specifically, we will be looking at the number of posts the user has made, the regularity of posts, and the content of the posts for relevance and helpfulness.

The winners will be selected by the eBay India Community Development Team. We will be presenting the awards to 5 users.

The winners of the award will be announced on the boards on the 31st of March, 2006.

When last community awards were annonced, I suggested to include a certificate with the award and got the positive reply from your side.

snrama - your idea on certificate is a good one. will include it next time onwards.

Dear Sapana,

I have noticed that the activity on Community Boards increases after the announcement of the Quaterly Community Awards.

Community Interaction is the best tool available to all. Members who visit the Community regularly learn 10 times faster than those who visit occasionaly.

ebay is an ocean and to explore it you need to interact with others. When you solve difficulties for others or try to find answers to your problems, you learn the practical way.

I think ebay must take initiative so that the activity on Community Boards increases.

Get official news from eBay.

Don't miss out on eBay events.

Write a review and increase
traffic to your listings!

also ebay GROUPS.

.....all these kinds of activities are not available on ebay.in

Some attraction is needed to break the monotony.

Hi Umang,

You are perfectly right. I have seen a lot of members who do visit boards after the awards quarterly announcements.

I think only few visits regularly. Making more posts doesn't make them activity. Participation in workshops is a must for new visitors. ---------------
