How to establish business contacts in unknown countries lik UK,Australia

hello friends

i m selling ethinic wear lik sherwani, chudidaar, etc for men.

i hav strtd listing my products since 5 months back. i m not able to sell successfully inspite of having good products at most economical prices in our national mrkt.

i want to start my business in countries lik NZ, UK, Australia but i dont know anybody over there.i know i hav tremendous amt of potential with huge margins.

if i get some good contacts to hav tie-ups in these countries thn i can giv my prdts at most economical prices ever heard n can mak good money.

can someone guide me - how shall i go abt this.

As the first step to selling, you should research the eBay marketplace both within India and the markets you are looking to sell to, for similar items that you want to sell. This will give you a good idea on the potential of your products.

Couple of Selling Tips
1) Feedback is important to build credibility as a seller. You can build positive feedback by buying also.
2) Improve the quality of your listings (use better photographs)
3) List a range of products ( currently you have only one product listed. Give some choice to buyers
4) Complete your 'About Me' page. Let prospective buyers know more about your profile.
5) Offer International Shipping if you want to sell Internationally

Specifically on International Selling, you can also list your products directly on the eBay UK site and ebay Australia (for Au and Nz), you can do that with your current user ID. A lot of Indian Sellers are selling internationally and the preferred choice of listing for them is the eBay US site. Again some research on the active listings or the completed listings (Advanced Search) would help you gain a better insight into these markets.
