Wanted to share my horrific experience with eBay India, to caution other online customers.
1) Purchased Kent Max water purifier worth 6800 - Pay paisa ID 34148567714on 28 the July 2013)
2) Still now product was not delivered So I raised a claim with eBay on 10 the August 2013 with CLAIM ID 257696
3) No action from ebay.in for 2 weeks. I called customer support 5 times meanwhile - they said they will escalate this to their claim department and will respond in 48 hours.
4.) One day when I called eBay customer care one Mr. vineeeth confirmed that my claims has been approved you will receive the email tomorrow about the details of your refund confirmation.
5. Believing the EBAY representative I bought another product from local market. After waiting 48 hours I didn't received any mail of the refund from eBay so I called e bay customer support but now they are telling my refund is not approved.
6.) So today I called asked for the senior persons they have transferred to one of their shift supervisor. He talked to me in a arrogant manner like I begged for any thing from him.
7,) I clearly said I don't want the product any more but he is not willing to hear my issue and told me that we cannot assure your refund.
Being a IT professional we used to by majority of things online from eBay or via flipkart
If the issues is not resolved in my favour i will make sure this experience with EBAY will come in every local blog in our IT park and also facebook and other public blogs and will end up in consumer court
This is either the mistake group wrong people sitting worong seat in your support center or a brilliant scam from ebay india - they make rosy claims on their website about safeguarding buyers under the guarantee. They just rip off people. There is zilch accountability. They just take customers for granted and take people for a ride.
