paypal is giving error while paying

Hi

Since last week I am unable to pay sellers while purchasing items on ebay.

The seller is in the USA and I have made succesfull buys in the past month from sellers there.

However now I either get into 2 issues

1) Endless OTP verification after entering the card number and proceeding to Checkout and Pay (the OTP is entered and it keeps asking again for a new OTP sent. Repeats in a loop without success)

2) When I tried from ebay.in to initiate the payment for the invoice sent, I get the message from paypal 

Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.

This is after entering the card information and proceeding to checkout and pay.

The seller is waiting for more than a week to receive the payment and I have no clue on how to fix this.

Can someone please look into this to help me to proceed with my payment?

Hi all

I managed to find the root cause for this. It was the banks disabling international transactions on the debit card being used.
I tried different bank cards and finally ensured that international payments were allowed on one of them before I used it. This worked and the payment went through successfully.

I think this can be marked as fixed and archived/closed now. It was not an issue with ebay or paypal and the errors were misleading.
