Not an unusual technical problem with ebay. This happens frequently in ebay, putting customers to unnecessary mental stress.
What you have to do is seek the help of the ebay customer support (chat option, preferably).
Be ready with all details such as date of piurchase, amount of purchase, name of bank, method of payment etc when you begin the chat with the customer care executive. The refund claim will be processed and approved and the amount credoted back to your bank account.
But it will take time, may be two or three weeks to see the amount reflected in your bank account.
