I had brought a iphone battery back pack. Details as below. It did not work. SO i raised a claim within 28 days of purchase.
27th, i get a email

27 the i reply asking for quesry as to what type of proof they want and in what format .i.e., photo, video etc?
No response
I called cust care on 29th, but the customer care cenetr people are pathetic.. One Mr dipankar, before i could ask my query, he started saying we have rejected my claim becoz its claimed after 28 days. Then when i reminded him of the date of purchase and the claim, he started talking different. He said he will arrange a call back.. Suma of claims dept was even worse, put me on hold and disconnected without responding. 10 min later, i see a mail from them saying my claim is rejected. reason: new one this time.

Looks like they are just for name sake and not interesetd in settling any claims
