Paisapay for ICICI debit card not working

Hello everyone,
I have been trying to pay for my purchases using ICICI debit card but after the usual procedure I keep getting the following message:Your PaisaPay credit / debit card payment cannot be completed. Please select a different payment type.
What could possibly be wrong?

Something even worse happened with me.
i paid via ICICI online transfer Rs.18500 for a product and the amount got deited also.yet there was no mention of the payment,any acknowledgement or confirmation in my ebay or paisa pay account!
i have lodged a complaint and they have resolved to credit my account with the same with in a day or two.

Just now the same thing has happened to me.I got sms message that my balance has been deducted but confirmation in my ebay or paisa pay account.

Will somebody specify why exactly the card is not accepted? what other methods of safe payment can be done when debit card is not accepted?

Create virtual card and use it. It is valid for one day. spl_ind
