I was not satisfied with the product. The digital watch stopped working after 4-5 days of working. I thought there might be a batter issue. I changed the battery with the help of local vendor. But it stopped working after a week. I again checked with other vendor the battery was again drained. I again changed the battery, but it stopped working after 5-6 days. Again I checked with same vendor and found that the battery was again dead. Finally, I once again changed the battery and it stopped working after 4-5 days. Overall I'm left with a watch with non-working digital portion at the moment. I was forced to open the watch at local market 3-4 times and in the process the glass was also broken, which has been replaced with locally available glass.
I raised claim to customer support on 27.01.2014 but no response till date.
Despite my efforts of contacting the seller he didn't respond. Finally I came hold of him on 12th February 2014 when I sent a mail to him and e-bay support.
But I received the mail back on 17.02.2014 as under: -
I have sent a request to supplier for replacing the watch but the problem is they said they cannot provide any help in this bcz the product has been damaged . like any other product being sold in market if internal parts are broken or repaired outside authorized servicing center then warranty do not cover this. u must be knowing this Sir so in ths regard we will not be able to help u Sir. I am extremely sorry . u were supposed to mail us the day when u got issue then that very time it would have been replaced Sir.
Then I sent him the mail the same day as:
If you go by my trail mail I've tried to contact you since 15th January but there was no response from your side. Moreover, only due to battery drain it was not prudent to ask you for replacement. Hence, I changed the battery locally. There was no warranty card with watch, neither there was any list of authorised service centers with it. Also, there was no response from your side, so it was not feasible to keep a non working watch with me after paying 1600 and receiving no response from seller.
But no response by the seller till date. He is not answering my phones also.
I'd a talk with customer care for 30 minutes today but they are saying that they can't help..
Is this a joke????
