My 14,000/- is on hold in Paisapay for a week.

Hi all,

I bought a Panasonic camera (Lumix fx36) for 14,000/- on ebay on 25th using credit card. I sent the scanned copy the same day. But I didn't recieved any confirmation. I waited one day, still no information. No reply to the mail I sent to customer care.

The next day when I contacted customer care(many chats, many calls) they said docs not recieved.I sent the email 3-4 times..still no reply or confirmation. Fnally I sent a fax too. Still no reply. Again chats, calls.

Finally by 6,6.30 one customer care executive said that they got the documents and they will further process the application. I said I didn't recieved any confirmation. She said that won't be a prolem and they will process it.

Today its 29th and still the status is "buyer action required". ?Yeterday and today frm morning I am trying to cantact support. When I called customer care and no executive picks up the call. All are busy. Chat also not working.

This is my first ebay purchase. And it turned out to be a nightmare. I am afraid, I will loose my money, since that ignorant response from ebay.

The promotional offer for Ipod schuffle ends on 30th. I think I will loose that too even if they process it after one or two days.

Please do something....

Hi ,

I have the same problem .I have been on hold for more than 90 minutes now for Customre Care number. I bought a Asus P320 PDA phone yesterday and chose to pay through credit card. This is my first purcahse at ebay and wasnt aware that a copy will be required , else i would have chosed payment thourhg online banking . Now ,even though , i sent the scanned copy within half an hour of the purchase , my buying history is showing "Action required".

I have the same concern as Justin that my free ipod offer will expire. It isnt a good first time experience with eBay . I hope a better and convincing response to build a long term future relationship .

Please let me know what can be done from my side to ensure that i dont miss the free ipod offer. Can i somehow cancel the order and then reorder using online banking .

Dear new-buyers,

I'm a seller and I have over Rs.50000 pending for approval by Paisapay. Normally they would only take maximum 24hrs to process and approve the payment. But due to the terrific attack on Mumbai (where the eBay Operational office is based) the normal living is suspended. Today, by God's grace all the three targets (Taj, Oberoi & Nariman) have been sanitized and the Mumbai is limping back to normalcy. So is the situation of the eBay staffs.

Hopefully all your pending payments would get approved by them by Monday and I hope Indraneel would do something to make the promotional offer valid for you all.

Be confident; eBay is the best place for safe buying!

Hi all,
Thanks for the prompt responses. Thanks Indraneel for escalating my concerns. Abhjit, I hope by monday this will be processed and hopfully we will get our ipods :).

Since we are first time buyers we are too much excited about that experience. First time I am buying a pdt which I din't see in actual and from a buyer whom I don't know. And there are stories about the frauds.

So especially we are expecting some support and a good first experience, as Abhijit said, for a long term relationship.

But atleast I am happy that some sort of support came here. And feel that I am not alone.
