I had purchased a shirt from one of the ebay seller through paisa pay.The shirt I receved is not original.I immediately contacted the seller and told him for refund through ebay.The seller agreed for refund and said to send back the item. However when I contacted Ebay they told me to raise a claim in ebay gurrenty programme and told me to send back the item after their advise and not directly to the seller. But till now even after 5-7 time contacting Ebay they have not taken up my case. I could not undrestand when the seller agreed for refund then why ebay is delaying my case by not repling me even after 30 days while it is advertising for refund gurrented in 20 days.

Ebay should make clear their guarantee program time line.
They make claim in big fonts and in corner mention*T & C apply in very small fonts.
My claim 19653 is pending for over a month but it is pending still on date.
Ebay neither tells about time for disposal nor give me any updates that what is going on.I think they want to delay so much that either of party gives up.

dear sir,
i have a purchased the handset though e-bay. but seller sent me wrong handset. immedite i call to seller, taht time seller gave me assurance it will activate within 2 to 3 days, but still my problem in not resolved.
now seller reday to take back handset after deducated 30% of amount.
i have sent many mails to E-bay but they are not respond.

EBAY buyer policy sucks big time.
As part of the policy I had filed up a complaint against seller rachitasia and I was so sure that EBAY being a US based company will have some ethics and some governance. But now I feel that its purely a company run by Indian babu's. It has been more than 2 months and still my case is nowhere. All the people who are reading this. Please please please don't buy from EBAY it's a fake company with fake governing rules.

The unfortune seller referrred here is us- linusstudios.
Buyer had claimed that he wanted to return the shirt. We promptly agreed. I even got a call from claims department where I informed executive that I had communicated with buyer and he is sending the shirt back.
Everything was going on fine. But today I see that
1- buyer has not got money.
2- Money has been deducted from our next remittance for refund.
3- We have not got the shirt back.
I request buyer to kindly send back the shirt to the address we had already provided to him. I guess the money will be back to your account in 3-4 days from now.
Point is you should not have opened a case in eBay guarantee once we sellers were ready for return. That is what complicated matters. I want assurance from eBay as they have already deducted money from our remittance that we get our product back.

Just missed a thing- That shirt was original. We agreeing to refund does not means that the item was duplicate. For us customer satisfaction is main that is the only reason we are welcome to exchanges and refunds.
But Come 1st Nov when onwards sellers will have to pay penalty for issuing refunds . We are going to stick to- no refund only exchange policy.

Please note that Paispay cannot deduct money from your account and do refund to the buyer without confirming that buyer has shipped the item. They ask the buyer proof of dispatch and only then refund is done, not otherwise(check ebay guarantee program rules). Sunilji get in touch with your claims adjuster and sort out the issue.
At least this was the procedure initially but there is no "guarantee of ebay policies" anything can happen anytime.

I know that, but as u said there is no surety of eBay policies.. I have got 4 examples which happened with me when I asked refund to be put on hold to my claim adjuster till I got the item back. Those were put on hold. But in 2 out of these 4 items buyer kept the product and got refund as well. I lost both.
I dont like complaining untill it is a big matter. Earlier products were like 200- 300 Rs things. So I tolerated those. This Shirt was worth Rs 900 or so. Buyer has just communicated that he has sent back and as well provided a tracking number yesternight.
But My point is how can they approve refund without me checking if the buyer has return piece as it was.
