Custom or Import Duty from EbayUS to India

Hey Ebay

I am planning to buy a NIKE Vapor 9 tour of Roger Federer shoes from Ebay Usa, which shoes is not available here in INDIA.

It costs around 130 us dollars, the seller is ready to ship it to india, so can I know what will be the import/custom duty charge on the 1 pair of the shoes

What time it will take to be deliver...I am form Gujarat

As per your message you need to pay atlest 28% of customs duty to the base rate i.e 59 X 103$ = 7764.06

Then your duty will be : 2173 to 2400 RS

There are provisions to avoide the customs duty,for this you need to ask seller to mark the value of goods below 5000 Rs & he also need to mark the goods as "GIFT"

Ask the seller if he can do tha above, otherwise you need to pay atlest 2000+ as duty..

Time : If it is by India post (if the seller is using american post,then in india it will be handed over to indian post) then it will take 7-25 days,if it is dhl or other then around 3-15days
