When Shipped item returns back to seller ?

Dear Sellers,

What to do incase if a shippment is returned back to seller, because the buyer given insufficient address ?.

How to handle the situataion ?

1. How to collect extra shipping cost ?
2. I have asked for a new address (Different than the one he gave) and extra shipping cost.
3. He did not reply and dispute is still there.
4. Now buyer opened a dispute and went off. How to resolve now ?.

Another important question is, does Indian Post call the mobile number given in the address ? or They just ignore it. Becuase i have written customer mobile number on the shipment.

I don't why buyer did not get a call from PostMan/PostOffice for the address ? Are they authorized to call only land line phones from BSNL ?

Other experienced sellers, kindly share your experience how to handle this dispute ?

Hi,

Post Office don't contact buyer. Use courier facility, they will make a call if the house is confusing.

If you could have sent through courier, they would have given back atleast 50% of money as its not delivered.

The best solution is:

Ask the buyer's exact address, Send them via courier. You may some time need to pay extra costs. ---------------
