IITF'2008 : SHOULD EBAY INDIA BE THERE ??

Hi all !

as everyone knows that nowadays sales are getting down rapidly on ebay india. Ebay should spend on advertisement.

dont ' you think that ebay should participate in Trade Fair such as INDIA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR'2008 (IITF'2008) which will be in November at New Delhi.
Sellers & buyers may be invited to participate through ebay stall.

Sellers Please give your valuable opinions regarding this.

ebay officials kindly tell us whether it is possible ??

E-bay has carved a niche out of all these things.It has a presence of its own.However the proposition that it will get more exposure is surely welcome
This day is of course the age of advt....so why should e-bay lag behind being the premier online trade.
E-bay personels..are you hearing.Pse give a chance of expo for the best sellers and buyers.

Thank you for posting your thoughts on eBay India's participation in IITF'2008 and I'm here with a response to such a valuable suggestion being made by you on this forum.

Firstly, a bit of a history that eBay India had participated in IITF'04 event (formerly baazee.com) as the objective was to build awareness about the scope of international business through this platform. It was a fruitful participation and we agree to your point that "Sellers & buyers may be invited to participate through ebay stall."

However, we have experimented with different methods of advertising and creating brand awareness over the priod of time and have seen greater benefits in them. We are in the process of coming up with an integrated campaign which will achieve the same objective for us in a far better way.

You will soon see our plans put in action and without stealing the thunder from the teams working here would update when the time comes which is not too far away :-).

Keep posting such valuable thoughts!!
