how to send diamond jewellery to out side india

i have some customers from out side india. but
any body can tell me what is a procedure of sending
diamond jewellery from india ?
do i have to export or send directly by courier company ?

Helo,
You can send it without an export licence. You have to go your nearest speedpost centre because couriers often do no accept Diamond jewellery. Single consignments below Rs 25,000 do not need any kind of licences.

You have to pack it nicely and attach a customs label on it denoting the value in dollars. Please insure it for the full value.

Speedpost will give you a tracking number. So if it is lost in post you can claim your money back. If the customer tries to do a chargeback , you can show the tracking number and escape from chargeback.

A. Yes, One requires an IEC number, however the following categories of of importers or exporters are exempted from obtaining Importer - Exporter Code (IEC) number:
a. Export Houses & Star Trading Houses
b. Ministries/Departments of the Central or State Government.
c. Persons importing or exporting goods for personal use not connected with trade or manufacture or agriculture.
d. Persons importing/exporting goods from/to Nepal provided the CIF value of a single consignment does not exceed Indian Rs.25,000.
e. Persons importing/exporting goods from/to Myanmar through Indo-Myanmar border areas provided the CIF value of a single consignment does not exceed Indian Rs.25,000.
