Sell Item Overseas for first time

Hello,

We have listed our products on eBay.in. We have got a question of a buyer from Overseas asking for the feasibility of sending the product to his/her location. We have searched over eBay help and found that:
1) We need to list our item internationally.
2) We must have an IEC in order to sell outside India.

We dont have an IEC as of now with us. We are thinking of applying the same. This process may take time and we really dont want to loose the buyer.

Is there any other way we can accept the order from this buyer and ship the product? We have already started process to apply for the IEC.

Any help would be much appreciated.

i am facing the same problem.

In case, product is sold to US,how can i ship it there?

Is it Export?

Is it Import for the buyer? Is buyer required to pay Import duties? Will the product be delivered at buyer's home?
