Sales Tax & VAT

Is it true that no Sales Tax or VAT applies for international sales? Is it necessary for all international sellers to have their own clearing agents? How much do they cost? Are these agents necessary even for India Post despatches?

I am not sure whether you are excempted from VAT. Even for exporters they have to pay taxes but get an excemption at the end of a financial year.

Is there something like we have to pay taxes as per the importing country's product category ?

No SalesTax/Vat applicale on overseas sales, all you need is IEC code or mark the shipment as gift.
