ebay is a forum of sellers and buyers not "cheaters" a seller offer an item with an exhorbitant charge of despatch eg a seller offers a SONY DSC S90 WITH CAMERA POUCH (item No 320049400095) with a price of Rs.2000/- and a despatch charge of Rs.6200/- this type of selling cannot be promoted
Please comment on such offer is this to be discouraged

Hi rajivaik,

I totally agree with you that this kind of selling should not be promoted. In fact eBay has a policy that discourages selling with low price and high shipping cost.

Click on Listing Violation
Listing Policy Violation
Circumvention of eBay fee
Excessive shipping and handling

This will help the CS team in investigating and taking appropriate action agasint the seller.

Hi,
As mentioned by Sapana, its illegal as per eBay norms. Now-a-days, many such sellers are getting notices from eBay to rectify / justify such anomalies in shipping charges. .
