in ebay, many times the same item is listed by multiple vendors with the same specs and picture but with varying prices. Often the pictures show names of reputed brands. But actually the products are spurious and not manufactured by the brand shown. Some vendors give hints hidden inside the specs (for example OEM product or NOT Original etc.). All these are incorrect practices. The buyer will only discover the issue after receipt of the item ordered and detect the spurious nature after some usage and not immediately. Ebay should take steps to prevent this to protect its brand image. Some practices may violate IP laws (like using the logo or name of a reputed brand on a spurious or duplicate product)
