ebay Guarantee claim not honored

I placed an order for Red gear wireless controller Item ID ***on 10th AUG 2015 and the item was defective so I raised on claim on the same day I received the product on 15th Aug 2015. Ebay made me go through a lot of hoops and finally agreed to have my item returned to the seller and book my shipment for return on booking ID ***through FEDEX on 31st AUG 2015 (it took me 15 days to convince ebay for return) but to my amazement no body came to pickup the item so I called FEDEX and they told me that Ebay did not complete the process and they though sent me an AWB number they have not informed FEDEX about the same. So I called ebay to have the pickup arranged properly on 1st SEP 2015 and they said my claim adjuster will call me in next 48hrs to resolve the problem. guess what, nobody called,.
I called again on for help and again given a timeline of 48hrs again no one called.
I called again after waiting for the second time and I was told that my issue has been escalated and we will take care of it in next 48hrs and my claim adjuster will get in touch with me. Again no one called.
Now when I ask to talk to a supervisor during above calls, no one bothered to talk to me and I was always told that supervisor is busy on  another call and can't come to the phone.
I escalated the case through ebay online matrix and finally got a call and he again promised me a call in next 24hrs, still no one called.
I escalated to the next level, and no one responded, I Escalated to the country manager level and no one responded and its almost 40 days without resolution now.
I don't know what ebay is upto but this is a complete **bleep**ty service and ebay should not be allowed to do business with such practices.
The attitude of agents towards customer is pathetic and service is non-existent.
