Very Pathetic service from ebay

I recently bought something on ebay for the first time.

And this would be the last time.

I wont recommend ebay to anybody. Over all experience has been very bad.

 

I applied for refund since the item sent was not as per description.

Initailly they said, notifiction has been sent to selller. If seller doesnt respond in 2 days, claim will be approved in my favour.

Seller didn't respond at all. But still ebay didnt approve my claim,

Instead, they kept on asking proofs and delayed it by more than a  month,

WOrst part is that when we try to reach customer service, they waste 15 mins of time asking lot of verification details - email, dob, address with pincode, last 2 transactions....they wont be helping you in anyway.

All they say is give us 48 hrs of time.

 

It has been more than a month since i applied for a refund and still money is not credited.

 

Other ecommerce cites have this no-questions-asked refund policy.

ebay has a lot to learn from them
