Unfair Business Practices From eBay

It was my first and last purchase on ebay. Where I recieve the damaged product and as resolution got the enclosed message:

 

We thank you for your precious time in helping us investigate the issue you faced with your purchase. We regret to inform you that after investigating the claim we are rejecting your eBay Guarantee* claim request. Click here for more information.

Action : Product found under Manufacturer warranty

Remarks : We have checked the details of your claim and have noticed that the item purchased by you is under 1 year Manufacturer warranty and hence excluded from eligible transactions for filing a claim under eBay guarantee. Therefore, the claim filed by you falls under non-eligibility criteria. As a result, we have closed your claim and your request for refund has been rejected. In this case, our best advice to you is to contact your Seller and resolve the matter amicably. Thank you for your precious time, have a nice day.

 

 

 

Its total unfair business practice and this company should be banned in India. As even a local shop keeper also takes back its defective product within the timelines but ebay straight away denied and want its all consumers should always use the defective products repaired again and again,go several times to the service centers ,doesn't matter how far it is from there home .And never ever use any new product.

 

Rather than spending money on travelling to service centers ,its better if we file consumer complaints as unfair business practices.It should always be noted consumer laws are there in constitution and whatever ebay made there rules doesn't have any value against them.

Ebay is such a shame to online retailing and should be banned ASAP.
