Pathetic customer service & the biggest cheats in the e-tailing business

I ordered an iphonecover on eBay. I got a damaged piece which I raised a claim for immediately. I was first asked to contact the seller which I did with pictures of the broken product I had received. I was then shamelessly asked to contact eBay customer care which I want to highlight is the most pathetic service I have ever received. The claim was inappropriately handled and closed because clearly eBay has hired incompetent people who handle claims and the company doesn't have appropriate mechanisms to handle emails and loose attachments and repeatedly ask for them to be sent to different id's. I have never felt more cheated by any other e-tailer and this is first where the company is least bothered to take ownership of their customers.
