I don’t know why professionals prefer private courier being they have several drawbacks compared to Indian post.
1) They are (private currier) less reliable.
2) The have less coverage area.
3) They have no infrastructure (most of their “OFFICES” runs in PAN shop or other commercial building.
4) They have no quality manpower, most office run by their one-man army, porter cum booking officer
Cum peon cum cum cum ………….
5) Abut charge I am not sure but assume it is also high for private currier.
6) It is (private currier) less secure. most of the complain s are against private currier. Their customer care is too poor and non responsive.
7) Last one when you use Indian post you are contributing Indian government, all taxes and revenues Collected from you goes to Indian govt and assumed to be utilized for developmental work.
Hence I request all sellers to un-screw from sucker private couriers and tie up with Indian post.
