From what we understand, effective 29th April 2013 @ 00:00:01 IST:

1) Returns no longer available while listing the item.
2) New warranty structure available as an item specific.

However, as of today, May 1-7:25AM, neither of the above has been implemented. We still see the 'Return policy & Warranty' tab under the 'Shipping and payments' section on all items on eBay and the new warranty structure is unavailable when we go to create a new listing or revise an existing listing.

Therefore, have the changes been implemented or not? If not, what is the new timeline? If yes, then please advise why we are unable to see the changes.

Please let me know which category you are talking about
If it is mobile phones, you can add your own model value in the tag" Model", From time to time we review seller added values and update them in our tag structure.
Currently for lot of our tech products categories we have catalogs ( Mobile phones, tablets, VGC,Televisions,cameras)
where each colour variant is a separate product.
For categories like Mobile accessories we will be adding colour as a MSKU variant so that you can specify multiple colours in one listing.Please let me know if this answers your question.

Can you please let me know which category you are encountering weight field in item specifics and what error you are getting in turbolister.

Makes the basic facts about your item clear and accessible on your listing.
Gives buyers more details about your item and helps them make an informed purchase.
Ensures your item is visible in lot of front end experiences built on top of item specifics
Ensures users can navigate to your listing from Left nav in search.

We understand the advantage of item specifics, but to reiterate our question:

1) Effective 29th April 2013 @ 00:00:01 IST, new item specifics were to be made available when creating or revising existing listings. These item specifics regarding the warranty structure. However, we just checked again and these new item specifics are not yet available. Therefore, can you please update if there is a revised schedule or are we doing something wong?

2) At the same time, it said that the 'Return policy & Warranty' tab under the 'Shipping and payments' section on all items on eBay would be removed. But this has not yet happened.

Therefore, have the changes been implemented or not? If not, what is the new timeline? If yes, then please advise why we are unable to see the changes.

Thanks for your post !

Due to a technical issue, we could not roll out warranty as item specifics on 29th March, we have solved the issue and will be able to roll out warranty item specifics in various categories in next couple of days. Simultaneously will wire off returns from Listing side.
