New eBay Hidden High Final Value Fee of 5% on 118 exception list category.

We all know that eBay charges 1% for most of the category as Final Value Fee. Bus recently ebay added 118 exception to categories with 1% FVF. These 118 sub sub sub categories will be charged 5% fee.

This is unacceptable as earlier ebay imposed fee based on Main Category or the sub category only. Now the ebay impose fee on any sub sub sub category they want using this exceptions.

I checked ebay.com and they charge FVF uniformly on main catogory only.

Now its hard for every seller to know the final value fee. We have to go through this 118 exception to how much will ebay.in charge us. Most sellers take only 5-10% profit, with this new 118 exception list sellers end up in loss.

Products from manufactures in eBay list are charged only 1% fee while all other brands charged at 5%. eBay manufacture list is incomplete and not updated for many years. Also many new products don't have a category in eBay. Eg: No category for SSD.

Why impose 5% FVF to motherboards? Already mobo cost on ebay is very high.

Another partiality is towards Brother Inkjet Printers. While all other brands printer are charged only 1% brother brand is in exception list at 5% FVF.

I request ebay to remove this exception list and use uniform FVF across main categories and subcategories. Also request to update your Manufacture list and add new categories for new products.
