Does eBay collects GST from the seller and deposit to Government?

I am a eBay seller have to fill GSTR 3B for the first time. My CA asked me to confirm whether eBay collects GST from the seller and deposit to Government? or Seller need to deposit GST directly ?

Sellers have to pay gst upfront for all the sales since TDS/TCS has been postponed by the goverment, you can claim ITC Though.
