I have bought a kobo ebook reader, paisa pay id 37004715543. The book reader is not switching on even after full charging. ebay has rejected the refund claim on the pretext that item is covered under manufacturer warranty. Even the seller has washed his hands off after pocketing the money on the same pretext. Warranty is very well when an item goes bad after using it for some time, but when the item is dead on arrival what can one do. Further ebook reader is not a very common item in our country and the manufacturer is a canada based company who does not provide any servicing facility in india, what am i supposed to do? should i go to canada to get it repaired? I am now left with a dead ebook reader and have lost my money also. ebay has cheated me.
