Claim ID: 641575 ITEM RECIEVED IN DAMAGE CONDITION BUT CLAIM REJECTED

I recieved my mobile in nonworking condition (sim 1 is not working) and even service centre says there is sim tray damage and it doesnt gets covered under manufacturer warranty so i relied on ebay guarantee program which turned me upside down saying that item under manufacturer warranty so nothing can be done ! is ebay still reliable ?  Reply will be appreciated

Service centre has issued me DOA on 25/09/2014 but ebay denies for arranging reverse pickup of the product saying that my claim has been closed already and ebay cannot do anything further to help me ..........This is worst ever irresponsible reply recieved
