I bought an item on 11-Apr-2014 which was found to be broken. The cost of the item was Rs.1269.
I have raised Claim with 482954 on 26-April-2014 for refund and ebay contacted me for resolution on 12-May-2014 (while ebay take normally 3-5 days to respond).
Ebay asked me to dispatch the broken item and provide them the proof of dispatch. Ebay will refund the money along with the courier charges to which I agreed.
On 16th-May-2014, ebay sent an remainder for the proof of dispatch to be sent within 48 hours(18th May,2014). On 17th May 2014, I dispatched the item and mailed the proof of dispatch to insellerverification@ebay.com.
I also received the acknowledge from their end that the document has received.
On 19th May, ebay closed the claim due to failure of submitting the proof of dispatch within stipulated time.
On 20th May 2014, I talked to one of the supervisors of ebay and after investigation he found that the claim was closed by mistake. He assured that I would receive an update by 22 May,2014 to which they failed.
I want my money back else I am moving towards consumer court
