BEWARE OF CHINESE MP4 PLAYERS!

Do not buy any imported chinese mp4 players and USB MP3 players. I got confirmation from a memory chip manufacturer the memory chip used inside these players are manipulated. A 2 gb player is not a 2 gigabyte player but a 2 gigabit player. It will have only 256 mb memory. The sellers of these players are third grade cheaters. So beware of these products. Go for only the branded ones.

1 GB player will have 128 mb memory

2 GB player will have 256 mb memory

4 GB player will have 512 mb memory


Don't get fooled by tall claims of the money mongers. Any data exceeding the above range in the players will produce format error.

This problem is rampant now-a-days. Hope the buyers will be alert. Also hope that eBay will do something against this cheating (where some sellers are also getting cheated unknowingly). .
