I'm planning to sell branded packaged food items, eg pickles, masala powders etc, as well as non food items in ebay India. I'm not manufacturing anything but procure items from manufactures and sell it in ebay. So, do I have to obtain any trade license from local authorities as like in case of traditional shop? Any typical licensing requirement for selling branded packaged food items? Since I plan to sell food items also, I would like to get clear legal advice on it..
