When ebay announced refunds rules, ebay had very clearly mentioned that items having manufacturer warranty will not be eligible for ebay guarantee refund and the buyer will have to get replacement from the manufacturer directly but still in my 2 cases ebay has done refund to the buyer which were having 1 year manufacturer warranty and a warranty invoice was given to the buyer. I have sent mails to ebay stating this rule which was implemented by ebay itself but still they have gone ahead with the refund which is completely wrong and open cheating on part of ebay.
My reason to highlight this case here is because when refunds are done to the buyer it counts against the seller's record and because of this ebay places selling limits on our account for no fault of the seller at all.
I would like comments of other fellow sellers who have had such experience.
