Chinese Mobiles Banned!

The Government of India has implemented a total ban on Chinese Mobile Phones which does not have the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) Numbers. Do you think our Government has taken the right decision?

no it should be an individual's personal choice of what he wants to use.. there are many who wish to buy nice expensive phones with best of features like touch screen and with great mp3 players and camera.. but not everyone is lucky enough to afford that.. so if he can get all these things in cheap like in a china made phone then whats wrong?

Just for everybody's information.

Government has banned chinese phones not having valid imei numbers for last 2 months. Whatever is coming in India now has valid imei. If they allow import the customs will come in fault.

Moreover chinese mobiles have affected sales of branded mobile phone companies like nokias and samsungs and hence every month you see in papar that they scare innocent customers.
