Sincerely, thank you for giving us the opportunity to provide additional information regarding our account suspension. We are very grateful for the opportunity to make the necessary changes to continue doing business on eBay, as it is truly a privilege.

The issue(s) that you believe caused the above policy violation to occur.

Mainly, we use to deal in beauty and cosmetic items. The products we have listed are Fragrance “Victoria’s Secret” brand and we have applied our offers on already existing products. As being a completely new seller on that time, we were not aware of exact listing procedure and eBay policies. We were very new seller on that time and unknowingly we have applied our offers. We were not aware that we cannot apply offers.

The actions you have taken to resolve the issue(s) that caused the above policy violation to occur.

We are taking following action to minimize this issue in future:

We will not add any listing to our inventory without thoroughly verifying each product quality and performance.

Now we have deleted all listings for this brand. We will sell those brands only for which we will have proper invoice with supply chain along with the brand permission.

To prevent other possible incompatible/inauthentic complaints, I will continue to monitor my product performance to identify problems and act before they lead to a complaint.

We will purchase our products from authorized distributor and obtain proper purchase invoice and brand permission/authorization letter/proper purchase documents/Invoice.

We will send our own products under our brand name only if we would not have proper invoice and brand approval.

The steps you have taken to prevent future policy violations from occurring.

 We have retrained our purchasing team on spotting inauthentic items so that they only purchase legitimate, authentic items directly from the manufacturer or from authorized distributors. Each source that merchandise is purchased from will be approved and reviewed by multiple people. We will also obtain written documentation from each manufacturer that each source is a licensed distributor and we’re an authorized reseller. We will no longer list any ITEM deemed to be inauthentic or from any source that cannot be verified as direct from the manufacturer or from authorized distributor. We have removed all ITEMs and merchandise that cannot be verified as coming directly from the manufacturer or from an authorized distributor.

 

We have added another step to our inventory receiving process, in addition to the two- Layer checks we conduct when we receive a Purchase Order, there will be a third step designed solely for the purposes of identifying any products that are likely to be disqualified. An item that is subject to above directions will be picked up during this process. This has been implemented starting today – I have assigned 2 additional employees that will do it every time we get new inventory.

 

Once new goods arrive they will be placed in a hold area where they will undergo a quality inspection. All goods will be inspected by multiple people to ensure they are 100% working. Any items deemed inauthentic will immediately be separated and destroyed so they are not listed to our inventory. All sellable items that are deemed authentic will be released to the technology team, which will further inspect them for gentility, condition, compare online ITEMs and copy write information to the actual product, as well as make sure each item complies with all other eBay listing guidelines before listing. The entire team is aware of how important the issue of authenticity is to providing excellent customer service. This process will be randomly audited once a week and will be overseen very carefully.

 

We are further explaining our plan of action in terms of Sourcing and Listing.

Sourcing:

We are explaining the sourcing procedure in two parts basically for branded and non-branded products:

Branded products: For the branded products all the branded products will be sourced from the authorized suppliers and distributers only. We will verify all the documents like invoice, authorization certificate, self-authorization letter and proper supply chain management. We will even take category approval from eBay support team before listing any product.

Non-Branded products: For the non-branded product all the products will be sourced verifying all the aspects and quality checks. These products will go through proper photo-shoot and details will be created from our side only.

 

Listing:

We are explaining the listing procedure in two parts basically for branded and non-branded products:

Branded products: Listing for branded products will be done verifying all the documents like invoice, authorization certificate, self-authorization letter and proper supply chain management. We will even take category approval from eBay before listing any product.

Non-Branded products: Non-branded product all the products will be listed verifying all the aspects and quality checks. These products will go through proper photo-shoot and details will be created from our side only.

 

All the listings will follow proper listing guidelines: Title: Brand Name+ Product+ Model+

Device Compatibility+ Specs.+ Color + Additional info.

 

Packaging:

To take care of this aspect of proper packaging, we have started training our packing staff on transport worthy packing to avoid any damages/defects due to inappropriate packing and we make sure the all the products will be sent to customer in original packaging. We are already adopting:

(i) First layer of thermacol

(ii) Second layer is of Corrugated Sheet

(iii) Bubble Wrapping followed by Packing with Corrugated Sheet & Cello tape

(iv) Finally the Wooden Box if required for extra safety.

 

 

We take each and every notification very seriously. This suspension will really be helpful for us to change our selling policies and not to repeat similar mistakes what we have done earlier. Some of the examples to demonstrate that our account has complied with eBay policies are mentioned below:

We will sell those brands only for which we will have proper invoice issue by authorized supplier along with the brand permission/authorization letter.

We have even downloaded our all listings report and confirmed that there should be no any existing listings where we do not have proper documents.

We have gone through the eBay help page and learnt about the exact purchasing policies and listing guidelines.

We will sell our own products under our brand name only if we would not have brand approval for any other brand.

We have launched our account on eBay as a primary source of income after COVID-19 our family are depends on eBay Business. Due to some miss-happening our account got suspended.

Thank you so much for your valauable response and guidence, we would like to inform you that, we have already contacted many times to customer support team, but they didn't remove the restirction of our eBay account kindly help me how to get remove the restriction as its our primary source of income after COVID-19.
