Screaming for Help (Seller ID "Ava-International)

Dear eBay India Seller Community,

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to bring to your attention a pressing issue we are currently facing as sellers on eBay India under the seller ID "Ava-International." We believe that sharing our experience may help others facing similar challenges and, hopefully, draw the attention of eBay India to resolve this matter promptly.

Our account initially had 250 free listings, which we utilized diligently to showcase our products on eBay. When we reached our limit, we decided to upgrade to an eBay Store subscription to access an additional 250 free listings, taking our total to 500 free listings. This seemed like an excellent solution to expanding our business on eBay.

However, once we started listing our items after purchasing the eBay Store subscription, we were surprised to discover that eBay was deducting $0.30 per listing, totaling an unexpected charge of $50. This came as a shock to us because we believed we had 500 free listings available as part of our eBay Store subscription.

We immediately took steps to address this issue:

  1. Contacted eBay Customer Support: We reached out to eBay's customer support through various channels, including email and phone calls, to seek clarification and a resolution to this matter. Unfortunately, we have not received a satisfactory response or solution.

  2. Engaged with Our Account Manager: We also contacted our designated eBay account manager to explain the situation and request assistance. Regrettably, our account manager has not been able to resolve this issue either, despite several attempts.

We find ourselves in a frustrating situation where we are incurring unexpected fees despite our eBay Store subscription clearly indicating that we should have 500 free listings. This issue is affecting our business operations and profitability, and we believe that it is important for eBay India to address and resolve this discrepancy.

We kindly request the support of the eBay India Seller Community in drawing attention to this matter. If any of you have faced a similar issue or have insights into how to resolve it, we would greatly appreciate your guidance and advice.

Additionally, we implore eBay India to investigate and rectify this issue promptly, ensuring that the eBay Store subscriptions are accurately represented and that sellers receive the benefits they are entitled to.

Thank you for taking the time to read our message. Your support and insights are invaluable, and we hope that together we can find a solution to this problem. We remain committed to providing the best products and services to our valued customers on eBay India.

Sincerely,

Ava-International

Dear ava-international,

Greetings from team eBay!

We do regret the inconvenience you have faced for the insertion fees being charged for your eBay store listings even when they are within the free listing limit of your subscribed eBay store.

Please be informed that the "Zero insertion fee listings allocation per month" are allocated basis your eBay store subscription. From what you have mentioned it looks like you have subscribed for an eBay  "Starter" store.  It should be kept in mind that a "Starter" Store subscription does not allow any additional "Zero insertion fee listings allocation per month". Please read the details here : https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/store-selling-fees?id=4809

However we have escalated your issue further to your respective account manager and you can expect to hear from them shortly.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Regards,

eBay INCBT Team
