ebay does not have many books to offer...

i was searching for some rear books on ebay(rare in india only) like A Wizard of Earthsea but couldnt find anything. i think there should be more sellers with such books and more when there's no listing fee in this category...

Hello!

We agree with your view that books are rarely available in Ebay. Main Reasons in my opinion are :

# Though Books has no Listing Fee it has high Selling
Fee;
# Books items are MRP based and seller cannot add
anything extra as Ebay expenses and Selling fee is
also 6%. Shipping cost is also applicable. So any Book-
seller cannot get profit out of it;
# Ebay should reduce the Selling Fee to 1% so that any
seller can list Books.
# This is the only way to increase listing in Books.

Ebay is pulling down my antique old books.
No reasons given.
Just for humiliating me.
You may say that ebay is humiliating all respectable sellers.
My buyers are good respectable people, (apart from joy bidders). I always count on their patronage.
Can you tell me why these people acting in funny manner?

PS: I have decided not to list any fresh old books or mags for the time being. May be I was at fault, who knows!! I have already asked for a guideline. Hope this will be resolved.
